To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all players, families, and visitors, the following rules apply to all events, gatherings, and activities at Chico Eastside Little League facilities unless specific permission is granted by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors has explicit permission at all times to enforce any and all penalties for violations:
- No Dogs – Only service animals with appropriate labeling are allowed. This includes dogs left in vehicles or in parking lots. Do not bring dogs or other animals to Eastside without markings indicating their service use.
- No Smoking, Vaping, or Tobacco Use – Smoking, vaping, and tobacco use are strictly prohibited on league grounds. This includes chewing tobacco.
- No Alcohol or Drugs – The possession, sale, or consumption of alcohol or drugs is not permitted.
- No Outside Vendors or Food Sales – Only league-approved concessions and vendors are allowed.
- No BBQing or Cooking – Grilling, open flames, or any type of cooking are not allowed on the premises.
- Parking Lot Speed Limit is 10 MPH – Please drive slowly and watch for children at all times.
- No Unauthorized Vehicles on Fields or Walkways – Only league-approved maintenance and emergency vehicles are permitted.
- No Unauthorized Use of Fields or Facilities – Fields, batting cages, and other facilities may only be used for scheduled league activities unless approved by the Board.
- No Fireworks, Firearms, or Weapons – Fireworks, firearms, or any weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.
- No Climbing on Fences, Backstops, or Dugouts – For safety reasons, climbing on structures is not allowed.
- No Bicycles, Skateboards, or Scooters on Fields or Walkways – To prevent injuries, bikes, skateboards, and scooters should be kept away from the snackbar, off fields and walkways and not used in the parking lot.
- Respectful Behavior is Required – All players, coaches, parents, and spectators must follow the Chico Eastside Little League Code of Conduct. Harassment, bullying, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.
- No Littering – Please dispose of trash in designated receptacles and keep our fields clean.
- All Children Must Be Supervised – Parents and guardians are responsible for their children’s safety and behavior at all times.
This list is not considered an exhaustive or explicit list of violations and the Board of Directors, District or law enforcement has full rights to enforce further violations as deemed appropriate. Failure to comply with these rules may result in removal from the facility and/or further action by the league up to and including permanent expulsion.
